One thing is very clear to me---I have the need for a forum or other two-way/back-and-forth type communication situation to supplement the weblogging.
For example:
* I post a public weblog
* One of my subscribers posts a comment on it.
* I want to reply to their comment---on the same topic, and this is where the natural flow stops.
***WHERE DO I POST MY REPLY ON THE SAME WEBLOG COMMENT TOPIC THREAD???***
So far, I've had to go to [the subscriber's] site, open a comment on one of their new weblog topics which is altogether unrelated (prematurely of course---before I'm actually ready to comment on that particular one), and then comment on both.
It's a disconcerting & choppy communication format at that point.
I love the weblogging and comments---I just want more!
(Oh...Wah, Wah Wah. Baby wants what she wants, when she wants it!)
If someone knows a solution, I'd love to hear it. Otherwise, I know the outcome. I'll just have to let it go, adjust to what is, and honor my own motto:
~^~
Gratitude in all,
both great & small.

I have seen other people that I read open their logs back up and edit them to add to the post but other than that i have been trying to figure out the same thing. I have found some people use the guest book but most seem to use the comments and just keep adding them to that same post..
hope there is a better solution out there
